About
I currently live in Tennessee and write stories like I like my nights; quiet, electric, and a very haunted around the edges. My work wanders the strange border country between beauty, dread, and insanity, where human devotion grows teeth and the dark has a memory of its own. I have published several books, including Neon Sin and la vie d’avant, as well as the Tails from the Pit series that slip beneath the skin with Southern heat, old-world myth, and the kind of horror that doesn’t ask permission.
Raised among kudzu tangles, church bells, and the long echo of Appalachian superstition, I write with a lyrical ferocity that blurs the sacred and the profane. My stories may be shirt but are restless things. They crawl. They whisper. They linger long after the last page, the way certain dreams do when the morning light tries and fails to drive them out.
I reside somewhere between the river fog and the mountains, crafting worlds where the shadows feel startlingly alive.
