The Saga of the Phoenix
About
The Saga of the Phoenix - Trilogy
The trilogy, whose plot unfolds over several centuries, begins with the sea adventures of a young radio officer aboard a merchant ship in the 1960s. During one of his travels, the young man encounters a strange character who intrigues him and introduces him to a mysterious supranational organization called the Phoenix. This organization aims to unify the planet under a single government that promises peace and well-being for all the peoples of Earth. The young man joins with enthusiasm and, within a few years, rises to the highest levels of the organization.
Having achieved its purpose, the Phoenix begins the exploration of space. A courageous commander of the space forces encounters incorporeal beings on an unknown planet who ask for his help in countering a cruel and bloodthirsty alien species that threatens their mission of peace in the universe. The commander later discovers that it was the Incorporeals who created the Phoenix on Earth to enlist human assistance in their mission. The Earth forces defeat the enemy aliens, restoring the peace sought by the Incorporeals, who subsequently disappear without ever revealing themselves to humanity.
Space travel continues, leading to discoveries of other planets and encounters with various species. By chance, they discover a Gate that allows instant travel to other planets, even millions of light-years away. As their research progresses, they uncover additional Great Gates that facilitate travel not only through space but also through time.
Admiral Gordon embarks on a quest to find the Incorporeals, demanding answers to his crucial questions. To restore peace, he feels compelled to impose it by force, sacrificing countless lives of alien beings in the process. Strange events raise his suspicions about the true intentions of the Incorporeals, prompting him to pursue them to ensure he is fighting for a just cause. His search is supported by a team of scientists who formulate shocking new hypotheses about the creation of the universe.
Science and theology take on completely different and unexpected meanings when these theories prove to align with reality, allowing humanity to uncover many mysteries that have long afflicted, frightened, or intrigued all living beings.
