Our first contact with extra-terrestrial life is a binary message gifting Earth with an “infinite” energy source using water as its fuel. All we have to do is build a Dome per their specifications, to contain the source. But now, seven years later after construction, the promised reactor isn’t running. Instead, there are strange reports of exotic life forms in and near the Dome. Aster Worthington, leader of the First Contact Team, is puzzled.

She spearheads a small group of scientists and a large team of Army Rangers who enter the Dome to get some answers. Much to their surprise, they discover an alien flora and fauna, including the very extra-terrestrials who apparently sent the message. But how?

Before Aster and her colleagues can answer any of the many questions, the denizens of the alien colony attack the expedition and kill all the Ranger. Thus, begins a struggle for control of the planet between two competing races the aliens and humanity. And humanity is losing. Our only hope lies with a two-thousand-year-old scroll hidden by the Church. Can Aster and her team unravel the scroll's mystery in time to save the planet?
