Confessions of a Rock 'n' Roll Name-Dropper: My Life Leading Up to John Lennon's Last Interview   is my memoir - the story of my rock radio related life and career wrapped around what tragically turned out to be Lennon’s final interview, which I co-conducted at the Dakota for RKO Radio on December 8th, 1980 - mere hours before he was shot and killed ! And when I left the Dakota I was accosted, followed and bugged by the creep who was about to become John’s assassin later that evening - ugh ! I still consider it both the Best and Worst day of my life, and my book of course features full descriptions and plenty of quotes from our interview, plus so many others I’ve conducted over the years - everyone from Paul McCartney (in London!) to George Harrison, Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Little Richard Penniman, The Ramones, and many more super awesome rockstars, YAY !
