About
Kevin is a Chief People & Culture Officer with over 20 years of progressive, humanistic, and impactful leadership experience, bringing his own flavor of the Human Resources discipline (an outdated term by the way - favoring People & Culture Experience) to organizations, resulting in high employee engagement and appreciation, resulting in strong performance and ultimately positive business results. He has a record of building sought out teams and programs. He prides himself as a hands-on, compassionate, empathetic, metric-oriented, and ‘tasteful’ strategic business partner, and a driver of rich and engaging cultures that support business success. He is compelled by forward-thinking organizations with pragmatic, humanistic, creative, and customized talent management solutions that positively impact lives and foster great places to work.
Currently, Kevin is the proud Chief People and Culture Officer at RentSpree, a successful start-up software company in the Real Estate and Rental space headquartered in Seattle, Washington. He has experience working across industries in such companies as Ticketmaster / Live Nation Entertainment, Blackboard, Virgin Entertainment, 20th Century Fox Entertainment, Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, and more. He sits on the advisory committee for the Master's of Applied Psychology program (MAPP) at USC. He has advanced degrees (Ph.D. and two Master's) in Organizational and Counseling Psychology, although he seldom shares this (too humble…).
On a personal note, he’s proudly been married to his college sweetheart, Orly, just over 25 years, and is father to two beloved boys he can never stop thinking about, Dean and Ben, living in Calabasas, CA. Oh, and he has a 5 lb. maltipoo who has him wrapped around his little paw. He’s native to West Los Angeles, is a fitness and health enthusiast, and is passionate about learning and experiencing firsthand different cultures and countries, having visited over 35 countries around the world that has taken him to and through Central America, the Caribbean, South Pacific, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. He aspires to travel well into his silver years to new and exotic places around the planet, trekking through rain forests and jungles, kayaking down rivers, hiking, and of course reading and dozing off on a hammock on a serene, calm, white sand beach on some tropical island with a bucket of ice cold beer at his side.
