About
Friends call me Geri, (or Dove, due to my inherent passion for doves).
I grew up in Southern California where I experienced city lifestyles from San Diego to Santa Barbara, the serene whispering pines of the California mountain ranges, and of course the lively beach culture that defines the West Coast.
Throughout my life, I have sampled life in many states and now reside in the Sooner state of Oklahoma. I've experienced bustling urban centers, serene rural and productive agricultural landscapes, the scorching deserts of southern California, Nevada and Arizona, as well as the beautiful white sands and clear waters of Florida's Gulf.
I believe that those diverse experiences significantly shaped my unique writing style and tendency to blend genres.
Having written non-stop since my earliest scribbles with pencils, I have published a variety of work including two novels; FINN, a Trafficking Victim's Quest for a Safe Place and the sequel, MURPHY, the Gift of the Voice. The hybrid genres are a blend of realistic fiction, romance, suspense, thriller, and my first attempt at sci-fantasy.
The two book series totals 509 pages and first explores the harrowing journey of FINN, a young trafficking survivor, as it examines the deep emotional and psychological aftermath of her experiences. The sequel, MURPHY, focuses on Finn's son and his relentless pursuit of justice, and revenge against the trafficking ring that stole his mother's childhood.
