Doug Oudin is a former Harbormaster on Catalina Island, California.  Having lived on the Island for 32 years, he wrote 2 books, one his memoir from the Island, 'Between Two Harbors', the other a novel, 'Five Weeks to Jamaica'.  

Both books resonate with those who know and have connections with the sea, and all its wonder and allure.
